in spring this year i ´ve got a deep insight in working with the kuka-robot and the software "hypermill" within the course "numerical methods of manufacturing".

i thought that it could be very interesting to try to mill a part of a triply periodic surface and so i took a code for k3dsurf http://k3dsurf.sourceforge.net/ from Ruggero Gabbrielli (Centre for Orthopaedic Biomechanics - Department of Mechanical Engineering - University of Bath) and
tried to use that to show the repeating properties from that kind minimal surface.

further it would be very interesting to research the properties from these skeletal graphs and their use for experimental space grids.
